The applicable standard is JEM1460! Testing can be conducted without considering the effects of sample scattering.
We would like to introduce the "Low Voltage Short Circuit Test Device" that we handle. This device intentionally creates a short circuit to apply excessive current to the sample. The test voltage can accommodate a wide range of voltages, and in three-phase configurations, both delta and star connections can be set arbitrarily, allowing for voltage output. Additionally, since there is a risk of the sample being damaged and scattering due to the short circuit, the sample is installed inside an explosion-proof chamber. 【Features】 ■ In addition to overcurrent testing of electrical products and short-duration current withstand testing, it is capable of reproducing failure events caused by overcurrent, continuous current testing, and combustion tests of electrical products that simulate tracking. ■ Testing can be conducted without considering the impact of sample scattering. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Kansai Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Company started its business in April 2020 as a general transmission and distribution operator spun off from Kansai Electric Power Company due to the amendment of the Electricity Business Act. Leveraging the strengths cultivated in the transmission and distribution business, we are boldly challenging new businesses and international ventures, aiming for growth across the entire group alongside our subsidiaries. We are committed to evolving into an "energy platformer" that provides new value to customers and society, not limited to electricity transmission services. Since 1954, our Technical Testing Center has accumulated various insights and know-how through quality assurance, performance testing, and defect investigation of products, and is equipped with specialized testing, analysis, and inspection devices. With the intention of widely returning these technological assets to society, we are developing a business that conducts contract testing and defect investigations for a wide range of customers, including companies and universities. We hope you find our services useful not only for distribution equipment but also for high-quality and high-precision manufacturing and research.
