Therefore, each individual hardness standard piece is a high-quality reference material with standard values assigned with high precision. The "Charpy impact standard piece" is a test specimen used to calibrate Charpy impact testing machines. Test specimens extracted from the impact reference machine owned by NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) are strictly calibrated, and those that meet JIS standards are assigned standard values and supplied to the public as impact standard pieces.
