[Case Study of On-Site Measurement] Three-Dimensional Measurement of Hydroelectric Power Equipment

Introducing measurement examples of hydropower generation equipment using a laser tracker.

We would like to introduce a case where we conducted on-site measurements of hydroelectric power generation equipment in Tochigi Prefecture at the request of a major electrical manufacturer. The discharge ring, located in the rotating part of the water turbine for hydroelectric power generation, wears down over the years due to the effects of water. This involves three-dimensional measurements and comparative measurements of the hole position, diameter, and seating surface position of the discharge ring.
