Strategies to be Adopted for Understanding 'Medical and Nursing Care Fees' from the Perspective of Solving Social Issues
Our company will hold a seminar titled "Transformation of the Medical and Nursing Care Industry through 'Triple Revision.'" The population receiving end-of-life care is expected to peak in 2040 and remain high for several decades thereafter. As a result, an increase in medical and nursing care needs (elderly medical care pandemic) is anticipated, leading to a greater burden on healthcare and nursing care workers. However, there is also a current situation where the acceleration of a serious labor shortage cannot be stopped. Starting from fiscal year 2024, new health care plans and nursing care insurance business plans are accelerating efforts to explore the appropriate provision of public insurance services alongside measures to realize a community-based society. This seminar will provide a detailed explanation of how these social issues are reflected in the 2024 revisions of medical and nursing care fees and how the future provision of medical and nursing care is envisioned.
