Bond Elut Focus features a unique amide-based polar packing technology that excels in retaining both polar and non-polar target compounds. The extraction method is simple and highly versatile, eliminating the need for complex pH adjustments through ion exchange or mixed-mode techniques. The unique bonding phase of this packing material possesses hydrogen bonding capabilities, dramatically enhancing the retention of basic compounds. As Focus improves the retention of polar target compounds, it enables the use of a powerful "Power Rinse" without loss of the analyte. Washing with 10-20% acetonitrile and methanol can effectively remove endogenous matrix interferences.
