The system detects objects placed on a tag by their weight, functioning as a quantitative displacement (weight) detection system. When an object is placed on the electrode, the elastic body between the electrodes compresses, reducing the distance between the two electrodes. As the distance between the electrodes decreases, the capacitance value increases. This allows for the detection of whether an object is present.
