Insert molding is a method that integrates two materials, such as metal and resin, into a single component. It is mainly used in home appliances and automotive parts and can accommodate three-dimensional curved surfaces. Vacuum forming and pressure forming are molding methods that involve heating and softening films or sheets and adhering them to a mold.
