The "RM1200D" is a high-performance fixed wave wear measurement system equipped with a tablet. It can be used immediately on-site, and measurements are completed in just a few seconds. The measurement carriage moves over a measurement distance of 1200mm using a hand-crank, while a high-resolution touch probe measures the primary profile of the rail surface at 2mm intervals. The measurement data is displayed in real-time on the high-performance outdoor tablet "MiniPad" using the software "RMDcatcher."
