Introduction of a case where solar panels were installed flat, considering power generation and heat insulation effects.
We spoke with Minamisawa Co., Ltd. about the purpose and effects of introducing solar panels. The company is committed to achieving the SDGs as a whole. As one of these initiatives, we wanted to utilize the generated electricity for self-consumption to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. To increase the installation area and achieve heat insulation effects, we installed the solar panels flat. Additionally, we proposed solutions considering costs, as we wanted to increase the power generation and hoped to mitigate heat in the second-floor office during the summer.
