We spoke with the Saku Asama Agricultural Cooperative about the purpose and effects of introducing a solar power generation system. They had been considering the introduction of a solar power generation system as a measure against rising electricity costs and for environmental conservation, aiming to reduce electricity costs and CO2 emissions by harnessing solar energy. At the branches that implemented the solar power generation system, monthly electricity costs decreased significantly compared to branches that did not implement it.
