The basic element is water. The target workpiece is placed in a hexagonal rotating basket, and powerful ultrasound is applied while it rotates to remove burrs. The workpiece vibrates with the ultrasound for burr removal while rotating. There is also a mutual displacement effect, leading to polishing. The impact force generated by the cavities (micro vacuum nuclei) created by vibrations exceeding 20,000 times per second and ultrasound polishes, removes burrs, and cleans the workpiece.
