Our company will hold a seminar titled "Current Status and Challenges of the JR West Japan Group's Efforts in Earth Environmental Protection." The JR West Japan Group, as a corporate group responsible for social infrastructure, promotes sustainability initiatives, including "safe, secure, and environmentally friendly transportation" and the realization of a "sustainable society." In this lecture, we will detail the current status and challenges of our efforts to reduce CO2 emissions across the group under the "JR West Japan Group Environmental Basic Policy" and the long-term environmental goal "JR West Japan Group Zero Carbon 2050," as well as our contributions to achieving a decarbonized society in collaboration with local communities and society, such as promoting modal shifts in passenger transportation.
