At Tokai Techno Co., Ltd., we offer a "Tire Tread Testing Machine" that runs passenger car tires and truck tires on a flat surface to measure the wear energy of the micro areas of the contact surface. The sensors used for measurement include a three-component force sensor that measures vertical pressure and shear forces in two directions, as well as a single-point sensor that simultaneously measures displacement (the distance the contact surface slips).
