A non-welded crimp joint for connecting general-purpose stainless steel pipes.
We have developed the world's first double-ring circular crimping method using a rotary gun (GUN), which allows for simpler, faster, and more economical construction compared to conventional piping methods. This innovation has been applied to drinking water, water supply, hot water supply, heating piping, and fire protection piping, contributing to the revitalization of stainless steel piping. The crimping process results in a perfectly round shape, ensuring that there are no leaks even during 360-degree rotation. The EPDM rubber ring plays a crucial role in maintaining elasticity after crimping, preventing leaks. Additionally, it is safe under high pressure. It can withstand pressures up to 35 MPa according to the 13SU standard, and 100SU can endure up to 7 MPa, making it suitable for use in high-rise buildings without issues. The crimping tool is lightweight and can be operated by one person, allowing for crimping at a single point in under 30 seconds, enabling speedy construction and saving on labor costs. Furthermore, it allows for angle adjustments in all directions, making it convenient for the operator to work.
