<Tokyo Event> Decarbonization Leading Area: Ueno Village, Gunma Prefecture - Entire Village! Full Effort! Full Utilization! A Big Challenge from a Small Village!
Our company will hold a seminar on the "Local Production and Local Consumption Strategy for Wood Biomass Energy." Ueno Village is developing a system for local production and consumption of energy from wood biomass that matches the village's material supply capacity, starting from the revitalization of forestry. Alongside promoting decarbonization, we aim to double or triple the scale of this local production and consumption and expand its ripple effects. In communities in mountainous areas with forest resources, we believe that establishing a self-sustaining use of community-based energy and expanding it nationwide will lead to domestic energy production and consumption. Additionally, our village has been selected by the government as a decarbonization pioneer region, accelerating our efforts.
