Groundbreaking guide-less navigation method using floor recognition technology, first in Japan.
The common guidance methods used for AGVs are magnetic tape and QR codes; however, since it is necessary to install guides on the floor, the labor and costs associated with construction during route setting and changes have been challenges. Recently, SLAM methods that read the surrounding environment using lasers, eliminating the need for guide installation, have become widely known. However, these SLAM methods can be easily influenced by the surrounding environment, which may result in lower accuracy compared to guidance methods with guides. The AGVs we handle support a high-precision guidance method called "FSLAM," in addition to the aforementioned guidance methods that do not require guides. *"FSLAM" is the first practical application successfully achieved in Japan by our company. FSLAM stands for "Floor-SLAM," and as the name suggests, it guides the AGV by recognizing the patterns on the floor. *For more details, please contact our company.

Applications/Examples of results
Main usage environments for FSLAM: manufacturing factories and logistics warehouses with concrete flooring.
Company information
The Four En System is a company that develops and manufactures automation systems for manufacturing factories across various industries. Our corporate philosophy is to provide "value" to solve challenges faced by production factories, such as labor shortages. We engage in various businesses, including "System Integration," which undertakes the construction of information systems, and "Mechatronics," which realizes automation by applying electrical, electronic, and mechanical technologies. Our main products include AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), IoT systems for visualizing factories, and picking systems. We handle everything in-house from development, design, manufacturing, proposals, on-site implementation, to support, allowing us to respond broadly to system construction and operation. If you have any concerns or questions regarding factory automation, please feel free to contact us.
