From the measured pressure, we will calculate the apparent viscosity using Poiseuille's equation!
We would like to introduce the "Apparent Viscosity" test conducted by our company. This test evaluates the pumpability and fluidity of grease. A sample in a cylinder is extruded using hydraulic pressure, and the pressure generated during this process is measured. From this measured pressure, the apparent viscosity is calculated using Poiseuille's equation. Samples with low apparent viscosity have good pumpability and fluidity, allowing them to be pumped through piping in lubrication devices with lower pressure. [Test Details] ■Item Number: G438 ■Required Amount: 1,000g ■Standard Number: JIS K2220 ■Target Oil Type: Grease *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
