Prosonic's ultrasonic processing machine features a high-performance "ultrasonic spindle" that combines ultrasonic vibrations with high-speed rotation of diamond drills. The intermittent contact between the drill tip and the workpiece surface due to ultrasonic vibrations not only enhances processing accuracy but also provides synergistic effects on the processing machine itself and tool life. ● Specializes in small-diameter deep holes with excellent straightness - Maximum length of 500mm. Capable of deep hole processing with an aspect ratio of 1:100 (drill diameter: depth) depending on the drill diameter. ● Improvement of surface roughness - The minute vibrations of ultrasonic waves transmitted to the drill's outer diameter in contact with the workpiece reduce the crushing layer on the cutting surface. ● Enhanced removal of sludge (chips) - The cavitation of the cutting fluid caused by ultrasonic vibrations improves the removal of sludge. ● Extension of drill life - Intermittent contact between the drill and the workpiece delays the degradation and wear of the drill.
