Remaining challenges in that promotion and future approaches.
Our company will hold a seminar on the "Omiya Station Grand Central Station Concept" in Saitama City. In the "Metropolitan Area Wide Area Plan" decided by the Cabinet in 2016, Omiya is positioned as a hub connecting Eastern Japan. To promote urban development around the station, improve transportation infrastructure, and enhance station functions in a unified manner, the Omiya Station Grand Central Station Concept was formulated in 2018, followed by the Omiya GCS Plan 2020 in 2020. Based on these plans, we have been in discussions with transportation operators and landowners of development blocks around the station to move towards concrete realization. This presentation will detail the challenges in advancing the concept and the initiatives for future progress. 【Seminar Details】 ■ Date and Time: July 11 (Thursday) 13:30 - 15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Address: 5-2-32 Minamiazabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Kowa Hiroo Building ■ Participation Method: In-person, Live streaming ■ Speaker: Saitama City Urban Development Bureau Urban Center Development Division Deputy Director Masahiro Kawaharazuka *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
