The screening test for dementia is conducted on a computer screen. It supports the differentiation of Alzheimer's-type dementia. ● The task structure focuses on recent memory impairment, a characteristic of early Alzheimer's-type dementia, assisting in the differentiation from age-related memory decline. ● The implementation time has been shortened to 15-20 minutes while maintaining the high differentiation ability similar to the conventional STM-COMET. ● A new two-stage cutoff value has been established, taking into account the effects of aging. ● The evaluation of test attitudes and response characteristics, which do not reflect in the scores, has been newly adopted as auxiliary indicators for differentiation. ● The result output report displays the scores of each task in a graph for easy understanding, allowing for comparison with past results. This enables easier assessment of the progression of symptoms over time and can be used for explanations to patients and their families.
