Development of repair materials and methods for deteriorated concrete using inorganic materials.
Ceramic paint that restores the strength of deteriorated concrete.
**Surface Impregnation Material** Surface impregnation materials are penetrating protective agents used to impart specific performance to the surface of concrete, such as preventing the intrusion of factors that cause concrete deterioration, with the aim of modifying the surface layer. Although these materials are easy to apply and relatively inexpensive, there is a challenge in that there is no established application method, and good modification effects are not consistently achieved on-site. In this repair material, by cross-linking silicate with aluminum, aluminosilicate minerals are generated, and by applying the developed "Sanken Method," we have successfully increased hardness. **Sanken Method** Deteriorated concrete has enlarged capillary voids and microscopic voids within the hydration product framework, making the surface brittle and allowing water to penetrate more easily. The modification concept of the Sanken Method is to restore hardness by reinforcing the framework structure with impregnated silicate and to enhance waterproofing by sealing the capillary voids with silicates, thereby achieving effective results.

Our company was established in May 1963 in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, specializing in waterproofing, painting (at that time plastering), and flooring construction. We have inherited the spirit of our founding management philosophy: "To contribute to society through the creation of new value, aiming for diversification and internationalization as a collective of experts. By leveraging our refined skills and cultivated knowledge, or 'wisdom,' we aim to create broad demand, respond to customer needs, and consolidate our employees' overall capabilities to expand into a highly profitable enterprise." We have started new businesses that serve as pillars by aligning our philosophy with the trends of the times. Since 2014, we have established a development room within Sanshin Building Materials Co., Ltd., promoting the use of drones as a next-generation inspection system. Additionally, we are advancing joint research and development with venture companies and universities on ultrasonic inspection devices that do not require sound inspection by skilled workers, as well as the exterior wall inspection lifting robot "NOBORIN." We have participated in various advanced technology demonstrations hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and our activities have been recognized, earning us the "Regional Future Leading Company" certification from the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. We will continue to strive to be a company that contributes to society through the creation of new value, in line with our philosophy.
