The manual scanning continuous plate thickness measurement device 'UDP-M1' is developed to confirm the thickness variation along the same line where material reduction is anticipated. It is effective for inspecting corrosion on the backside of piping (including elbows) and flat plates. Previously, thickness measurements were taken at points, but now linear measurements can be easily performed.
