Prevent seizing of stainless steel screws and nuts!
The "M Coat" treatment refers to a Teflon-based lubricant film treatment developed by Maruemu Manufacturing Co., Ltd. as a measure to prevent seizure of stainless steel bolts and nuts. Tests conducted on stainless steel bolts and nuts treated with "M Coat" under conditions prone to seizure (3° wedge) showed that they could be tightened without seizing. Even after five repeated tightenings, no seizure phenomenon occurred, and no abnormal "galling" was observed on the threads of both the bolts and nuts.
