Rapid analysis of metal and inorganic foreign substances such as metal pieces, rust, and plated products! We understand the shape and composition (elements) of foreign substances using SEM-EDX and investigate the causes.
We would like to introduce our "Food Foreign Substance Analysis - Inorganic Samples." As part of the testing, we first conduct visual and optical microscope observations. When a sample is considered to be inorganic, analysis using SEM-EDX is effective. SEM-EDX is a device that combines a scanning electron microscope (SEM) with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), allowing for elemental analysis of samples observed with the electron microscope. Identification of components using EDX enables the acquisition of mapping images of the measured elements, making it possible to understand the shape and distribution of components (elements) of the foreign substance.
