From multi-picking to total picking! Automating sorting significantly improves the efficiency of both upstream and downstream processes.

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "OmniSorter" at Sagawa Global Logistics Co., Ltd. Before the implementation, the company was performing multi-picking and could only pick up to 4 items simultaneously. After the implementation, sorting was automated, allowing for the picking of 160 items at once. Additionally, since inspection is no longer necessary in the subsequent process, it has become possible to assign beginners or those who are not very familiar with the work to the later stages.
