Successfully reduced labor and space by 40% through the transportation of various unit bath components using AGVs!
We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the shelf transport robot "Ranger GTP" at LIXIL Corporation. The company faced challenges in reducing the workload of operators who walk through the inventory area to perform shipping (collection and packaging) tasks, as well as in compressing the inventory area space to effectively utilize the surplus space. After the implementation, the manpower required for shipping (collection and packaging) additional materials needed at the unit bath construction site and after-service materials was reduced by approximately 40%, and the inventory area space was also reduced by 40%, allowing for the use of the freed-up space for value creation. [Case Overview] ■ Challenge: With the diversification of products, a large space is needed for the parts center to stock materials. ■ Results - Approximately 40% reduction in manpower - 40% reduction in inventory area space - Utilization of the freed-up space for value creation *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
