Add sulfuric acid to form sulfate! Measure the mass of the residue after heating to constant weight.
We would like to introduce the "Sulfuric Acid Ash Content" analysis for lubricating oils that we conduct. This test measures the inorganic substances contained in lubricating oil. The sample is burned, sulfuric acid is added to the remaining carbonaceous material to form sulfate, and the mass of the residue, which is heated to a constant weight, is measured. The types of oils targeted include engine oils, automotive gear oils, industrial gear oils, and machine oils. 【Test Details】 ■ Item Number: L241 ■ Required Volume: 100ml ■ Standard Number: JIS K2272 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
