Introduction of space-derived problem-solving solutions, starting with a case study from Yokogawa Electric.
Our company will hold a seminar on "Space x SDGs." When you hear "Space x SDGs," what comes to mind? You might think of the grand stories of rockets being launched spectacularly and traveling 300 million kilometers like Hayabusa, and wonder what that has to do with environmental issues like CO2 reduction. Drawing from my experience as a Sustainability Officer at Yokogawa Electric and having launched a space business, I will explain in detail how technologies and solutions born in space can help solve challenges on Earth. In this seminar, we will first introduce the "New Space Revolution" led by private space companies like SpaceX, headed by Elon Musk, and after explaining the new value of "Space x SDGs" that utilizes space, we will provide detailed examples of solutions that actually contribute to solving challenges on Earth. [Seminar Details] ■ Date and Time: July 25 (Thursday) 9:30 - 11:30 (Doors open at 9:00) ■ Speaker: Satoshi Kurosu, President of Kurosu Space & Sustainability LLC Executive Mentor, Space Business Development Office, Yokogawa Electric Corporation *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
