It is a type of intaglio printing where the image is engraved onto a cylindrical plate, and ink is applied to the recessed areas (cells). Excess ink is scraped off with a doctor blade, and the image is printed onto roll paper. We specialize particularly in narrow widths and can also accommodate surface printing and five-color printing. 【Printing Process】 1. Immerse part of the gravure cylinder (copper plate) in the ink reservoir to fill the cells (indentations on the plate) with ink. 2. Rotate the plate cylinder and lift it out of the ink reservoir. 3. The doctor blade scrapes off the ink from the non-printed (non-recessed) areas of the cylinder. 4. The printing material is sandwiched between the pressure roller and the cylinder, allowing the ink to be transferred from the cells. 5. It passes through a dryer before entering each color unit to be completely dried. 6.
