The "silicon steel strip," which contains 2-3% silicon (Si) mixed with pure iron, is primarily used in the cores of motors and generators. To minimize the eddy current loss flowing through the steel strip, it is desirable to roll it as thin as possible and apply insulation treatment. Each piece is punched out with a mold and laminated for use.
