[AM Utilization Case] Component Development: Phase 04

Introducing Phase 4 of our efforts to utilize AM (Additive Manufacturing) for precision roll components, focusing on weight reduction and improved cooling efficiency. As a challenge to precision rolls leveraging AM technology, we have explored options separate from our previous initiatives. By switching to AM methods, we were able to shorten lead times and bring costs down to nearly the same level as current methods, while also identifying potential manufacturing anomalies that can arise from changes in volume, diameter, and height.
