Aiming to extend the electric vehicle's energy efficiency through lightweight components! Significantly improved from the previously set goals.
We would like to introduce a case where additive manufacturing (AM) was utilized for weight reduction of EV car parts. In this instance, the challenges were "weight reduction," "maintaining rigidity," and "corrosion resistance" for the front bumper bracket, leading to an optimized design. As a result, we achieved a significant improvement from the initial target, reducing the weight from 1.401 kg to 0.446 kg. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Part: Front Bumper Bracket ■ Weight: 1.401 kg (Density 7800 kg/m3) ■ Challenges - Desire to reduce weight - Need to maintain rigidity - Requirement for corrosion resistance *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
