Our company will hold a seminar titled "JR Freight: Challenging a New Era of Freight Railway Transport." In response to the 2024 issue and expectations for carbon neutrality, logistics operators, as well as logistics management executives (CLOs) from shippers, will deepen collaboration to aim for overall optimization. We will work on building phase-free modal combinations and addressing various challenges through the promotion of DX (Digital Transformation) and GX (Green Transformation). We aim to achieve profitability in our railway operations and reform our cost structure as outlined in our mid-term management plan. Looking ahead to 2030 and beyond, we are also considering collaboration between freight railways and autonomous driving or automated logistics roads, aiming for a next-generation sustainable, labor-saving, and environmentally friendly national logistics network.
