Data Device Corporation (DDC) announced that its MIL-STD-1553 data bus components have been installed in Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft. As part of an uncrewed orbital test flight, the CST-100 successfully performed a docking maneuver with the International Space Station (ISS) and is scheduled to transport astronauts and cargo to the ISS in the future.
