Data Device Corporation (DDC) announced that its MIL-STD-1553 data bus components have been installed in Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft. As part of an uncrewed orbital test flight, the CST-100 successfully performed a docking maneuver with the International Space Station (ISS) and is scheduled to transport astronauts and cargo to the ISS in the future. DDC's MIL-STD-1553 transceivers and transformers are utilized in the Starliner's Crew Module Integrated Propulsion Controller (CM-IPC) and Service Module Integrated Propulsion Controller (SM-IPC). *For more details, please refer to the related links.
