A green laser is a laser that uses "green light." Compared to near-infrared light, it has a stronger wavelength and is not affected by water. When using near-infrared light for UAV surveying, the accuracy of measurements significantly decreases if the road surface is wet due to bad weather, necessitating re-measurement on a different day. Additionally, near-infrared light is absorbed and scattered by water surfaces, making it only possible to measure the ground surface. Our UAV is equipped with a scanner that uses a green laser. By utilizing this, high-precision surveying is possible even on wet road surfaces. Furthermore, it allows for measurements down to the riverbed in areas where land and water surfaces are mixed, such as rivers and ports.
