We would like to introduce a case of "mold maintenance" that our company is conducting. After using the mold for many years, issues such as dimensional defects and frequent burrs on the products began to arise. Since there was no one in the company knowledgeable about molds, we were asked to investigate the causes and handle the repairs as a complete package. In response, we proposed measurement and investigation of the causes. Our company follows a process where experienced technicians kindly and carefully handle the disassembly of the mold, cleaning of parts, measurement using a three-dimensional measuring machine and microscope, identification of the causes, and suggestions for repair methods.
