SSF-OS is an operating system based on the OSEK/VDX specification, while also implementing service calls from the μITRON 4.0 specification. It supports fixed-length memory pools and variable-length memory pools. Additionally, it implements semaphores, mutexes, and message buffers, enabling versatile synchronous communication. Since SSF-OS is implemented (fully in assembly) for Cortex-M0+, it can operate on any core in the Cortex-M series. Furthermore, there is also an implementation (also fully in assembly) available for high-end Cortex-A AArch64.
