Please be careful when piping the valve!
We held a basic training session on valves for end users. The purpose was to reflect on last year and improve our fundamentals. This is based on points of caution from the Japan Valve Manufacturers Association and actual incidents that occurred. We forgot to remove the protective pad and connected the piping. As a result, when we conducted a water flow test, there was a leak. We mistakenly installed the swing check valve in the wrong flow direction. The check valve did not operate, and the fluid could not flow. This poses risks that can lead to equipment damage, disasters, and additional construction costs. I believe that with a little knowledge and small awareness, these issues can be prevented. I hope this training session will be beneficial for our customers.
