Mid- to long-term vision "SOC Vision 2035" and carbon neutral (CN) strategy
Our company will hold a seminar titled "Sumitomo Osaka Cement Co., Ltd.: Initiatives for the Medium- to Long-Term Vision Strategy." Sumitomo Osaka Cement announced its medium- to long-term vision "SOC Vision 2035" in May last year. This vision presents the company's desired state for 2035 and develops a medium-term management plan through backcasting. On the other hand, as a high CO2-emitting industry, it announced the CN vision "SOCN 2050" at the end of 2020, outlining a path toward carbon neutrality by 2050 and a reduction target for 2030, while energetically working on maximizing alternative energy to fossil fuels and establishing carbon recycling technologies. This seminar will provide a detailed explanation of the initiatives aimed at realizing these medium- to long-term visions. 【Seminar Details】 ■ Date and Time: September 25, 2024 (Wednesday) 13:30 - 15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Address: 5-2-32 Minami Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Kowa Hiroo Building ■ Participation Method: In-person, Live Streaming ■ Speaker: Sumitomo Osaka Cement Co., Ltd.
