The "OWL TreeLogDetector" is a log detection support software that allows for the measurement of the diameter at the end of logs by attaching a digital camera to the OWL (when using a tripod) and utilizing the point cloud from the OWL's 3D sensor along with the camera images. The measurement results are output in CSV format. It leverages the advantages of the 3D sensor (capable of detecting indentations using its own emitted light, and measuring size without the use of markers) and the advantages of camera images (high positional accuracy due to high resolution).
