basic information
[Subsidy Information] Promotion Project for the Installation of Emergency Power Sources in "Tokyo Stay" Condominiums This subsidy is aimed at management associations of registered condominiums and owners of rental apartments in "Tokyo Stay" condominiums, providing support for the installation of emergency power sources and equipment to protect power sources from flooding (excluding newly built condominiums). Emergency power supply equipment capable of supplying three-phase power is eligible. ■ Key Points of the Subsidy - Subsidy for storage batteries installed in the condominium - Emergency power supply equipment that can back up three-phase power devices (such as pumps and elevators) - Subsidy amount: 188,000 yen/kWh ■ Enhancing Disaster Response Capability of Condominiums and Increasing Asset Value - By installing a storage system, the disaster prevention capability of the condominium can be strengthened. In the event of prolonged power outages or water supply disruptions, the critical issue during a disaster is the interruption of lifelines. For power outage measures in condominiums, backing up the three-phase load in common areas is crucial. With backup for the three-phase load, it becomes possible to move between floors, secure water, and manage vehicle access during power outages. By enhancing disaster response capabilities, such as securing emergency power, the condominium can maintain a higher asset value as a place where residents can continue their lives even during disasters.

**Backup for Three-Phase Power Supply Equipment** In addressing power outages in apartment buildings, backing up the three-phase loads in common areas is crucial. This backup allows for movement between floors, securing water, and managing vehicle access during power outages. ● Industrial Storage Batteries for BCP Measures in Common Areas ▼ Examples of Backup Targets in Common Areas - Elevators (three-phase) - Pumps (three-phase) - Mechanical parking (three-phase) - Lighting (single-phase) ▼ Enhancing Disaster Response Capability and Increasing Asset Value During major disasters, evacuation centers have limited capacity, so residents of earthquake-resistant apartment buildings, which are relatively safe, are generally required to "shelter in place." In addressing power outages in apartment buildings, backing up the three-phase loads in common areas is essential. By implementing disaster response measures with industrial storage batteries, we can enhance disaster preparedness, making it easier to maintain daily life during emergencies and thereby increasing the asset value of the apartment. ●Ensuring power supply is the most important issue to address Preparing for power outages can be considered part of BCP measures. Power outages can occur at any time due to natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons, or failures in power plants and transmission networks. Considering the risk of power loss during normal times can help minimize the negative impacts during emergencies.
-
●Recent Frequent and Severe Natural Disasters Recently, there have been frequent occurrences of disasters on an unimaginable scale, such as major earthquakes, localized heavy rains, typhoons, and accompanying strong winds and river flooding. One of the issues that tends to arise alongside these disasters is power outages. Furthermore, the frequency of large-scale power outages has been increasing year by year. Once a power outage occurs due to a natural disaster, it can disrupt facilities such as lighting, air conditioning, refrigerators, and elevators. Additionally, water supply systems and sewage treatment facilities that operate on electricity may also face the risk of water supply interruptions and inability to drain wastewater during a power outage.

Staying at home during a disaster, known as 'home evacuation,' is recommended. When a major disaster occurs, evacuation centers have limited capacity, and in densely populated urban areas, not everyone can be accommodated. Evacuation centers serve as temporary living spaces for those who can no longer stay in their homes due to the disaster. Residents of buildings that are relatively safe and have high seismic resistance, such as condominiums, are generally encouraged to practice 'home evacuation.' To continue home evacuation, preparations are necessary both at the household level and for the entire condominium. During a disaster, there is a high likelihood of power outages, and if elevators, common lighting, and security systems stop functioning, it can affect the safety of residents. By installing storage batteries, these essential facilities can continue to operate at a minimum level.

●Enhancing disaster response capabilities of condominiums to increase asset value In the event of prolonged power outages or water supply disruptions, the main concern during a disaster is the interruption of lifelines. For power outage measures in condominiums, backup for three-phase loads in common areas is crucial. With backup for three-phase loads, it becomes possible to move between floors, secure water, and manage vehicle access during power outages. By securing emergency power sources and enhancing disaster response capabilities, condominiums can maintain a higher asset value as they become easier to live in during disasters.

● Backup for three-phase power supply equipment is possible In corporate offices, factories, apartments, hospitals, and other places, many large electrical devices for business use are employed. These electrical products operate using power supply, which is delivered in three phases. The industrial storage battery system can supply electricity to three-phase power with an output of 30 kW, making it possible to operate large air conditioners, commercial refrigerators, elevators, machine tools, large motors, pumps, and more.

**Backup for Three-Phase Power Equipment** In addressing power outages in apartment buildings, backing up the three-phase loads in common areas is crucial. With the backup of three-phase loads, it becomes possible to move between floors, secure water, and manage vehicle access during power outages. ● Examples of backup targets in common areas - Elevators (three-phase) - Pumps (three-phase) - Mechanical parking systems (three-phase) - Lighting (single-phase) When the common areas go completely dark during a power outage, residents cannot move safely. Battery storage ensures the minimum lighting in common areas, supporting safe movement.
