The current regulations regarding PFAS are as follows: Complete regulation: PFOS, PFOA, and precursors of PFHxS are subject to regulation for almost all applications. Planned regulations in Europe: PFHxA will be banned for the following limited uses: textiles, leather, paper, food packaging, shoes, etc. For PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) other than those mentioned above, it has been considered that there are no impacts on the environment or human health in the past. There is no evidence that substances other than the currently regulated PFAS are harmful, and due to the significant impact on industries such as semiconductors and automobiles if regulations were imposed, regulations in Europe are currently under consideration. This regulation is expected to be reduced in the future, and the compounds and applications subject to regulation have not yet been determined. Several fluorochemical manufacturers have announced the discontinuation of their products; however, our products are currently not subject to regulation, so we do not plan to halt supply.
