Achieved a 40% weight reduction! A case study that solved the challenges of lightweighting for vibration suppression applications.

We would like to introduce a case where we were consulted about the possibility of creating a lightweight spring that suppresses vibrations for aerospace products. Lightweight design was a fundamental requirement, but there were limitations to achieving weight reduction using spring steel. Therefore, we designed using titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V), which has higher strength compared to spring steel.
