Scum dryer *Reduces the volume of sludge with a moisture content of 93% and lowers disposal costs.
High-moisture sludge can be dried. Since the weight decreases by the amount of dewatered water, it leads to a reduction in disposal costs.
The scum (sludge) dryer is a dryer that can dewater raw materials with a high moisture content. Traditionally, when dewatering high-moisture raw materials, methods such as filter presses were commonly used to squeeze out moisture. However, this machine allows for drying by evaporating the moisture from the raw materials through a vacuum drying method, making it possible to achieve a lower moisture content (actual results: moisture content from 93% to below 10%). Additionally, it can handle raw materials that cannot be dewatered due to clogging in the filter press method. It is gaining attention as a key solution for reducing disposal costs in light of the recent surge in industrial waste disposal fees. 【Features】 ● Capable of drying high-moisture raw materials (moisture content from 93% to below 10%). ● Uses steam as a heat source to indirectly heat the dewatered raw materials, allowing for drying without raising the temperature of the materials. ● Offers a rich lineup to provide proposals suitable for processing capacity (from 50kg to 5t/batch). → We have test machines available, so testing with brought-in raw materials is also possible.
