The Super Frac Tray is a high-performance cross-flow tray that combines the best capacity and efficiency among all cross-flow trays tested by FRI (Fractionation Research, Inc.). The Super Frac Tray can be used in almost all services where conventional trays or valve trays are employed, during both new installations and renovations. It is particularly beneficial for applications that require a large number of mass transfer stages and for applications where mass transfer efficiency is critically important for the economic viability of operations. Examples include fractionation units (ethylene, propylene), light hydrocarbon distillation units, splitters for chemical and petrochemical applications, and aromatic services.
