The TC-93039A is a high-sensitivity model that reduces path loss by not using a 50Ω termination. The near-field type is a coupler designed for close-range measurement applications, where tests are conducted as close as possible to the object under test, or in contact with it, in confined spaces such as shielded boxes. It is designed to minimize the effects of reflected and scattered waves, allowing for the simultaneous use of multiple units. However, it is sensitive to direction and position, so it is necessary to use dedicated fixtures for positioning.
