The development targets include agricultural crops and plants, as well as the breeding of microorganisms and insects, which have seen a rapid increase in demand in recent years.
Speedy breeding offers a "neutron irradiation service," along with a comprehensive "variety development total service" that includes the selection and breeding of mutants after neutron irradiation, as well as the development of new varieties and seed registration. By combining genome editing and EMS (chemical mutagen) treatment with neutron breeding, it is also possible to achieve even faster and more efficient development. Additionally, as part of our "joint research and development service," we conduct collaborative development and product development support, as well as joint research with advanced biotechnology techniques such as genome editing, always considering appropriate methods together with our customers. 【List of Services】 ■ Neutron Irradiation Service ■ Neutron Irradiation + Screening Service ■ Variety Development Total Service ■ Joint Research and Development Service *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Starting as a private company initiated by local volunteers under the proposal of the Ibaraki University Graduate School of Science and Engineering, we aim to develop a new technological domain that is globally competitive through collaboration between radiation-related facilities concentrated in Ibaraki Prefecture and the vibrant agriculture in the region. Our goal is to commercialize the use of neutrons for crop improvement, which, while considered effective among experts, had not been socially implemented, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society. We have conducted repeated demonstration experiments, enabling the generation of dynamic and large quantities of mutants that were previously unattainable. In 2020, we patented the technology for generating mutagens using neutrons, and we are currently providing solutions not only for crop improvement in agriculture but also as a useful technology for the development of industrial microorganisms, catering to companies and research institutions engaged in biological breeding and variety development.
