The "Calorie Answer CA-Hi" is a device that utilizes near-infrared spectroscopy to measure not only the calories of the sample being tested but also nutritional components such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, and moisture. Liquid samples are measured using a transmission method, while powdered and solid samples are measured using a reflection method. With improvements in sensing technology, when there are no changes in environmental temperature or measurement methods, it is possible to reduce the number of reference cell measurements, significantly shortening the measurement time.
