Currently, lead-free soldering is becoming more common, but it has poor wetting properties, a higher melting point, and requires higher working temperatures, which can negatively affect the products. Therefore, in point-style soldering, we increase the heater power of the soldering iron to raise the tip temperature (which reduces the lifespan of the iron by half). However, by using a high-power soldering iron (sold by Keitecno) that has almost no decrease in tip temperature, we can work at the same tip temperature as before, maintaining the same lifespan.
