More efficient deburring and polishing.
Cristone Bristle is a ceramic fiber brush that performs deburring and polishing of metals and resins with high precision and efficiency. By using nano-bonded fibers that are 1 million times denser than conventional micro-bonded fibers, it achieves both high grinding capability and excellent surface roughness. The high-density fibers are hard and tough yet capable of delicate polishing (achieving a surface roughness of Ra 0.048), allowing for simultaneous deburring and fine surface polishing with a single brush. This contributes to cost and labor reduction in deburring and polishing processes.

basic information
◾️What is a Ceramic Fiber Brush? This brush has excellent features as it uses ceramic fiber as the abrasive material instead of conventional abrasives. 【No Dressing Required】The fibers themselves, which serve as the abrasive material, continuously generate new cutting edges, maintaining grinding power. 【Highly Wear-Resistant】It has excellent abrasion resistance and high cost performance. 【High Shape Retention】The robust fibers act as reinforcements, making it difficult to break or chip. 【Shortened Processing Time】Supports smooth polishing with high grinding efficiency and excellent surface roughness. ◾️Ideal for Automation of Deburring and Polishing By attaching it to machine tools or robotic arms, deburring and polishing can be automated. The brush is lightweight and designed for machine control, maintaining consistent grinding power and excellent shape retention. ◾️About So-Wa Kasei So-Wa Kasei is a manufacturer based in Kyoto, specializing in fiber engineering and handling FRP, a blend of fibers and thermosetting resins. Based on the core technology of FRP, we have developed grinding wheels using ceramic fiber as the abrasive material, providing optimal solutions for deburring and polishing challenges.

Deburring with material ADC12 using CB31R-04075 (#1200, φ40 cup-shaped brush) Deburring cross holes on SCM420 camshaft using CB31W-M-10100 (#1000, φ10 special size cross hole brush) Removing resin burrs from electric vehicle parts with resin material using CBRM-0530-3 (#2000 φ5 special size end brush)
Detailed information
-
By using nano-bonded fibers as the abrasive material, we achieve higher strength, higher precision, and higher grinding performance compared to conventional ceramic fiber brushes that use micro-bonded fibers.
-
Automating deburring and polishing by attaching to machine tools and robotic arms. The brush is lightweight and designed optimally for machine control, maintaining consistent grinding power and excellent shape retention.
-
By using ceramic fiber that combines hardness and toughness as the abrasive material, it removes only the burrs without damaging the workpiece. By performing deburring and finishing polishing at the same time, it is possible to significantly reduce processing man-hours.
-
By using unique nano-bonded fibers as the abrasive material, a surface roughness (Ra) of 0.048μm is achieved, making it ideal for tool mark removal with excellent polishing performance.
